Balázs Szabó earned his bachelor’s degree in applied economics from Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE) in 2013 and continued his studies at Corvinus University of Budapest, where he got his master’s degree in finance specialized in investment analysis in 2016. During his university studies, he was a member of the Rajk College For Advanced Studies. In 2016, he began working as a stock analyst at HOLD Asset Management, primarily analyzing companies in the industrial, energy, shipping, and aviation sectors. From May 2018, he served as analyst and portfolio manager for the HOLD Expedition Derivative Investment Fund, and from 2020, he became a member of the operational management. Since November 2022, he was appointed as Deputy CEO.
