Dániel Móricz, PhD

Dániel is a member of the Board of Directors at HOLD, and has been a partner since 2007. As CIO, Dániel is responsible for coordinating and supervising HOLD’s portfolio management teams and serves as Market Risk Officer. He started his carrier at HOLD as a research analyst. Between 2006 and 2008, Dániel served as Chairman of the Ethical Committee at BAMOSZ, the Association of Hungarian Investment Fund and Asset Management Companies. He is a visiting lecturer at several universities and financial training centers and has published extensively in the Hungarian financial press. He holds a Master’s degree in Finance from Budapest University of Economic Sciences and Public Administration and a Ph.D. degree in Economics from Corvinus University, Budapest. His main areas of professional interests are asset bubbles and government intervention, as well as corporate defined benefit pension plans. Dániel is also the recipient of the “Portfolio Manager of the Year” price at the 2015 Klasszis Award.
